Thread: Adding Layer Style Problem | Forum: Photoshop
Philywebrider,
If you click on WINDOW on your top menu bar and check on Styles, it will show a box with some preset Styles (it looks like you may not even have them shown on your work space right now).
When the box appear on your screen, there is a little circle with arrow on the top right side.... click on that and the drop down menu will appear. There you will see LOAD STYLES! I hope you can figure things out from then... :)

If you are a serious professional user, the best book I could recomend is the Photoshop7 Bible, written by Deke McCelland. Can't go wrong with that:)

I think it would be nice to have a Photoshop gallery here. The software itself is a powerful tool and so widely used, it deserves bigger attention :)

Retrocity,
Thanks a million! You do make perfect sense.
You just gave me a solution that will make my life easier... :) I will have to secrifice some layers, but that's no biggy.
Should have done things differently from the beginning! lol

Thread: Slice layout in Photoshop | Forum: Photoshop
Retrocity thanks for reply. I was wondering if you can apply the same slice layout to the different file. Something like saving a path, If you know what I mean. The thing is, I already made all the designs with different colors and they are all separate files. Now I need to go back to them and slice them all the same, but it's time consuming. I really hope I am making sense here! :)

Thanks Cinema! :) I had something like that in mind.... as a matter a fact, I have tried all kinds of things, but was just hoping there would be a simpler solution to it. Was also surprised that Image Ready doesn't have any better options.
Thread: Digital Art Prints!! Coming July 1st! | Forum: Community Center
Hey you guys! That's a very serious issue that should be resolved in a proper and professional manner. You should put NO REFUND for the prints. This is a real product and only if there is something seriously wrong with it or where demage has occured, the print will be replaced with the new one of the same kind. You already know what you are buying and by allowing a refund, people will take advantage of it and it will end up costing you and the artist lot's of money!

I agree with Slynky on this one! There are some things you have to use your bare hands to create it.

This is great! Now, I went over to the their site and it was all in Dutch. Do they have anything in English? It's hard to submit your work to a place where you don't understand a thing.
Thread: A Question About Shutting down | Forum: Photoshop
If you have WIN98, get rid of it!!! It's just a piece of junk. Nothing but problems. I was constantly shutting down in those days. Upgrade everything you can and get yourself a separate hard drive and use it as a scratch disk! Works like butter everytime, no matter on the size of the file.

Thread: Photoshop 6 error under Win2k | Forum: Photoshop
Luthor, What plugins are you running? I am also running Photoshop 6.1 in WIN2000 with no problems. Have all the latest upgrades from Microsoft but this, in general should not be a problem. Back to my original question, one of your plugins might not be WIN2000 compatible. That is where I would start to examine.... Picky

Thread: Smudge tool problem! | Forum: Photoshop
Thanks Laetia for your input! I just updated my Photoshop to 6.0.1 version and the problem is gone! My original problem occured when I upgraded from 98 to Windows 2000. In 98, everything worked fine. However, after the new 6.0.1 upgrade, everything is working in Windows 2000!
