I agree; there are some people who might not wish to have such a feature on theire webpage.  On smugmug many users opt not to have their galleries protected; for those who do, it can easily be implemented via a radio button.  It's just a matter of choice.  As for me, it's not about stealing. I share when someone asks politely.

Many smug.mug users opt not to protect their images.  Take a look at my site:  www.StrangeArtifacts.net where I have implemented their security solution.  I know that it's not perfect because anything you pull from a webbsite ends up on your drive but still it just makes it somewhat harder for  the casual grabber.

vikinglady, Try k3DSurf; it's a great piece of software.  Here's an image of a Klein Bottle shown within K3DSurf http://TropicalEarth.smugmug.com/photos/125808140-L.jpg  I render these mathematical constructs as OBJ's and then import then into Bryce & Carrara.  K3DSurf is free and you can find it at http://k3dsurf.sourceforge.net/  I really enjoy using it.  Regards -
