It's even worse than I thought; it actually won't work in an earlier version of Poser, even though it loads. I can only conclude it saved the error in the pz3 file.

Thank you for responding. It gives one pause to realize they never provided a patch for this, it's such a basic flaw. Fortunately, I have previous versions which I hope it will work in, but it does makeme reluctant to purchase 13.

Thanks all, just thought is was me.Â
I heard create atmosphere eats cpu cycles, but I may try it anyway.
I"m not really great at creating additional nodes. I could probably experiment for a year and still not be satisfied.
Not really sure what "inverse" square is, so probably not. ;)
Thanks everyone. I may play with it for a bit more, but it's not necessarily for publication. It's more for inspiration for a chapter in a new book I'm working on.
Thanks again!

Thread: How many CPU cores will Poser 13 recognize and use? | Forum: Poser 13
I'm fairly certain the limit for Poser 12 was 32 cores 64 threads. With in creasing cpu cores, I was expecting P13 to use more.

Thread: Is poser doing anything new to export to FBX better? | Forum: Poser 12
I did get help from an Iclone forum that said the same thing, export as .obj. That worked, though it come in as a tiny speck of an object.
I've had some luck with export to .fbx, and some luck with .obj. You have to try both.
Many thanks.

Thread: Noob Conforming Question "You will conform!!!" | Forum: Poser 12
Thank you all. But I think I'm going to need conforming pants. I have used dynamic clothing and it looks great EVENTUALLY. My model is sitting on the floor crosslegged, so it will be a nightmare to make it work.

Okay folks, I really appreciate the help. Here's what I finally ended up with:
P12 with simple glass shaders didn't work at all for some reason. The windows were washed out reflecting white light and were not transparent at all.
I tried superfly and it does give a much better rendition to the kids in the scene, skin tone etc, even some hair looks better, but the reflection were very faint.
Finally, I did a Firefly render. Couldn't see the reflections UNTIL i put a black layer between the image and the background. I had to cut the black to 35 % to get the trees to show and still reflect the kids in the windows. (also tried white, not as good). I hope you can see them, the image is huge and it's cut down here to upload.
Probably about as much time as I can spend on it, but thanks to everyone who responded.

I have not. I'm a noob, even though I've been using it for a long time. I'll see what happens. Thanks!

Yes, thank you. I thought about that, but just assumed I was doing something wrong in Poser; you know, the usual. ;) I'm trying a .5 transparency window now just to see what happens. Thank you all for your help.
