Is there any way to STOP this damn library from working in that damn "indexing in progress" mode?

I'm unable to continue to work because it is so buggy that nothing is possible. I can't even get textures on anything. And there is no way to stop this "indexing" except to close Poser and because it's still running in the task manager I have to close it there too.

The fix I found for the library indexing, someone mention it had to do with Windows 10 and security. So I did, went to the main pp11 file and open properties. Once in properties, just go to security and check allow on everything. Admin, users, go down the list and just allow. I then restarted my computer and the library was no longer indexing.

I use Library Manager 2 from semidieu at RDNA. No more headaches.

Are you talking about the Shaderworks Library Manager? And I'm guessing it works with PP11? Just looked at it, and was very impressed, just wanted to be sure it works with PP11 before spending $25.

This should what Poser should have done with their library.

I agree. Have sent SM messages...They are working on it(should have been fixed already)...I even told them If I could I would request my money back.

I really hating PP11, the library is one huge problem. First it took me 2 days of searching the forums to get the thing working, otherwise it just kept eternally loading. After I got that working, found the search function was really bad. (Did anyone at SM QA this thing?) Among the MANY problems, while its nice the search engine wants to complete the name your typing. It becomes a problem if its a odd name, then half the time it keeps trying to change the search name to something else. Another problem, I can type only half of the upper-case symbols. Case in point, tried to type S&W for search. Except, the & symbol won't type, again, testing the upper-case symbols, found half won't type.

The search also brings EVERYTHING up, in PP14, I would type EL CID, the one file with that name would come up in the search. In PP11, EVERYTHING that has a EL anywhere in its name came up...Got around that by just searching for CID. However, this alone shows that PP11 search is a step backwards from PP14.

I also enjoyed in PP14, the ability to open the folder I was searching for in the search box. In PP11, it shows a broken folder icon, and I have to use locate to open the folder in the category window. And there is just opens the category it's in, I have to search the category to find the file that I searched for in the first place. Another step backwards from PP14, which allowed the searched for file to be opened in the search window. Allowing me to use the folder there, while at times, switching back and forth between that window and the category window,

There's more, but overall, the library is a step backwards from PP14. As for the rest of it, Superfly is a POS, like many others that have complained in these forums. It renders a black screen, sometimes with a white square somewhere in the render. But, switch over to Firefly, same work, same spot, and it renders.

As with the new male figure that was not included in this package because it was not ready. I feel, that this entire program was rushed and put out before it was not ready. One my computer, I have, Poser 8, PP10, 12 and 14...I purchased PP11 rather than test is. After this experience I'll get the test version from now on. Very disappointed in PP11, and seeing DAZ pulling further ahead in this market.

Actually, I'm wondering if they're trying to find how many images they can stuff on the home page? I find it so messy and busy, all I do now, is load Renderosity....waiting...waiting....waiting...select 'New Items' from the menu....waiting.....look and leave. I don't bother anymore looking at the features, the sales...quick look and leave. Too much crap on the home page now.

Since you now have a million images loading on the front page, I'm finding it takes longer to load. I mean is it really necessary to try and thumbnail everything on the first page? You made the search function longer, along with an extra step. 99% of the time, I'm searching for products, you now having it searching all your departments. Then when it comes up, I have to call up another menu for what I was searching for. Every other web site tries to be helpful and searches on the department your in...you have to be different, and this is not a good different.

Overall, I'm not impressed with the new site. You went for window dressing over making it better for the customer.

 I got Reality 4 today here at Renderosity, but can't use it yet. Before the install can finish, I have to input the License number, which I'm supposed to receive by a separate e-mail, and hours later I'm still waiting. Send and e-mail to Renderosity and to preta3d, no replies yet.

All I can say, is that I woke up this morning, decided to take a quick look at Rendo to see if its better. And right away I was impressed. Pictures are larger, better to the eyes, looks more professional. Then I realized that I was on DAZ, if Redo want to keep doing what their doing, they just need to go to DAZ for tips I guess.

Runtime, the site looks great, like it was made for them. Rendo, looks like...a tumblr page.

The feature store arrows are working...some-what, if I click on the arrows, nothing happens. But with I take my mouse down to the bar below it and to the right, it works.

I know I'm one of the many that has complained aout your new look. You have a right to change your look. But it was done poorly, by people that don't look like they have even finish their first year in web-design.

Your old look, looked like it was custom made to the site, this new look, seems to have come out of 'Web Design for Dummies' Go back to your old style until your designers get their act together and made a design that looks custom, not like a Tumblr page.

For me still too much white, stamps too small, too much wasted space in details. It'l like some one took their tumblr page and used it for the store. Even K-Mart looks better.

Thanks for the warning, guess that Rendo is off my shopping list until they fix things, that didn't need fixing in the first place.

BTW, the arrow keys below the feature sales box don't work. (Least for me) Whoever did this mess, fire them.

Not a fan of the new look, colors are terrible, far too white for me. Some texts bleed into another box text, photostamps are smaller, while the detail text is far bigger than it needs to be.

Looks like an amateurish cut and paste job, that was not tested before going live.
