does anybody know why some backdrops distort when bringing them in (they look squished sometimes)

thanks everyoneim shattered, I give up,2 whole days on this one!
There is too much lens distortion, i downloaded the demo of syntheyes to give it a whirl, but even that could not match the perspective of the buildings!
im going off to sleep and cry now, ive got a link to the actual image if anyone wants to have a go

im not sure what you mean, when i put the splat in i cannot see anything, now im lost as what to do? will it get the perspective? im only trying to get a working plane that i can add 3d objects to, but the photo is distorted!

Thanks suposer but the link doesn't exist now!, i have had a sleepless night but i think i have to use the buildings in the background as my XYZ and create a separate working plane at an angle!

no i am trying to put a 3d object into the scene, but i am having trouble matching the camera perspective. what is the way to go about this, if it were a movie syntheyes could plot it, but how do i do it on a 2d backdrop see this link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7UsgnU140tw thanks for helping
