I have to agree that Vue 6 (after the final patches were released) is working much better than Vue 5 did for me. Of course, I also upgraded my machine to a dual core and doubled the memory...but even before doing that the latest Vue 6 has made me much happier.Â
My 2 cents...

Thread: Geo Control 2 | Forum: Vue
I have to agree with Paula, GeoControl 2 is a leap ahead for those of us trying to create more realistic terrains. I have worked in Bryce, MojoWorld, Carrara and Vue and none of them have the level of control with the ease of use that the new GeoControl 2 shows. An amazing program...highly recommended.Â

Here is a link to a FREE suit for the free H.I.M. figure. Works great and the price is right. It has some nice MAT poses that work great!
Hope this helps,

Thread: Free models looking for host site | Forum: Carrara
Well, I'm a newbie to Carrara (got it a week ago - had finally had enough frustration with trueSpace) but I may be of help here... I would be happy to host the models on my site for nothing, just to help all of us Carrara folks out. I have about 400 mb yet to use. You would need to send them to me on CD (or some such thing...) so I could load them. Let me know if your interested. -Rex rex@3dDigitalDreams.com www.3dDigitalDreams.com

Yeah, that's the truth! I really hope as some of us start to grok this whole thing we'll be able to do the writeups that will help others on an easier path. I haven't done this much math stuff since I was developing a GPS tracking system about 4 years ago. Curvature of the earth and all that...ugh. [Brain expanding...pain...pain] ;-) But I believe MojoWorld is worth it...it's really an amazing program! -Rex Preblick Atlanta, GA

Ah, I see someone else has the same idea I did...we need MojoWorld at Renderosity! As far as a cult following, well, I guess I'm one of 'em! Been using Bryce for awhile but MojoWorld creates what I was always trying to get Bryce to do. Still love Bryce - but MojoWorld is currently at the top of my list - now I'm studying parameterized fractals at night for fun! Ack!!! ;-)
