Ed: The Viking longship is beautiful, but there's just one little flaw: the planking should follow the sheer--i.e., curve and taper to follow the upward curving of the stem and stern. I realize that that is a tough assignment, because you then couldn't use ordinary plank texture maps; you'd have to create one that was specific to the model and draw in the plank seams to follow the curves. Maybe a longer-term goal? Great work, regardless. Bob

That's a very creditable piece of work. I can appreciate the technical difficulties you faced. One suggestion: the mast on a sailing dinghy of that size would be stepped much closer to the bow. A little bowsprit would add to the effect of being an old-timer. Also, it would greatly add to the realism if you could taper the mast to about one-half its base diameter at the top. Maybe use a cone primitive greatly stretched, and trim a bit off the top to square it off? Keep up the good work. RTM

Great work. Nice twist on the classic inflatable "femme d'voyage" adjunct for those travelling alone. RTM

Diane: Looking good. Only quibble is with the carpet: it's too pixelated. Why don't you try tiling a carpet image a whole bunch of times, to get area coverage without blowing up the detail so much? Bob

Echo all the above. The only thing is that the power poles are too close together. Spans could be at least doubled.

'D' (besides being dramatic--she's my first choice) would make a fantastic hood ornament!

Apart from agreeing with all of the above--and kudos to you for the sensitive pose and rendering--I would only add that here is a pose where a morph target on the breasts to reflect gravity pulling them slightly to the side as well as down would add some more realism.
