Allso, please note that the building in the background allso has a little light bleed still at the base (just under the main habitat section). It's kinda hard to see from this angle though. Michael

PJF: I think a combination.... you see the model was created in Amorphium Pro, imported into Bryce and textures, the light was added inside of the structure, carefully scalled to make sure that it was NOT sticking out of the top of the structure. I made sure I set the materials to "Solid When Boolian Rendering" and made sure that the setting in the materials lab were set as you had mentioned.... (Which I think BTW is the default)?? I'm still getting a little light-bleed at the roof.... so I adjusted my range in the light a little less... that seemed to fix the issue a little. Michael

I was able to eventually figure out the neck texture matchup problem.... eventually...
Turns out there was a portion of the neck closest to the face that was still using the old texture... go figure... after telling it to apply the correct new texure I had made... well, tweaked ;) it finally worked...
... just a heads up incase someone else is having the same issue... took me the better part of the day to figure that one out... I kept opening the head & body map in photoshop scratching my head and pulling out my hair trying to figure out why they were not matching up... Oh well, live and learn.
I could still use some help on the other isues of why my tattoo looks a little out of focus when rendering. and if you figure my "soapy" areas look ok or if they could use some more work... I'll probably do a lot of that in post because I can then make the soap bubbles look like they are dripping off areas like her hips and stuff...
Thought?
Ideas?
Curses?
Praises?
Yeah, yeah... I don't want much do I.... c'pt maybe a six demon bag... full of wind, fire, and all that good stuff...
...course truth be told I feel like that after a good bowl of chillie ;)
Ramble, ramble, blah , blah...
... I'll just shut up now... ;)

Allso her tattoo of the dangerous teddy looks a little blury, but in photoshop it looked fine, any thoughts on how I fix this?
The texture I'm using is "Chanee" by RNKarenEr
I just worked some new layers into it like water droplets (Are they any good)? and I tried to add some soapy bubbles... I'm not sure they turned out so well in the rendering, but they looked great on the skin map in Photoshop... I allso tried to apply Daniella's face make up from a V2 face file... not so sure how well I was able to pull that off either...
Any ideas?
Thoughts?
Curses? ;)

Thanks for some more insight into this application gang... I'll print some of this stuff out and study it on the weekend... hopefully it will enlighten me a little... I am allso interested in any more effective ways to use poser perhaps better than I am. I have included a link to my gallery where I have a comic I am working on. Right now I am doing the scenes as composites in Photoshop... and rendering two sometimes three different scenes or ellements in both Poser 5 and Bryce 5... Please take a look at what I have done and get back to me on any helpfull suguestions or techniques which I might be able to use to make this stuff look better. This site uses cookies to deliver the best experience.
