Yeah, there sure are a lot. Right now I'm trying out the demo for Lightwave. With an academic discount it looks like you can get it for less then 200 bucks. We'll see how the demo goes.

Oh great alexcoppo, you had to introduce a couple more 3d programs I hadn't heard about. And they look good too! Grrrr, why can't the world just use one. :)

Oh man, I was in the SWC back before they had their program running. Brings back major memories, lol.

Mmm that is a good comparison chart. Crap, I hate not having all the features but I sooo don't want to spend that much money right now.Â
sigh
But you're right, 20 bucks won't break me, and they have a sale to upgrade to standard version that lasts to the end of the month. Then again, standard isn't pro. :(
Bah! I hate options!

Ahhh yes, I didn't think to look under the resources section. Wedge cut it is. Which suprises me since it looks good on that render and is a Michael 1 product.
Thanks mates!

Just checked out the V.A.P. Grim set, and I must say that looks friggin' awesome! Waaay too expensive for me to pay for personal armor ($60.00! ouch!) but it definitely makes my mouth drool.
Thanks for the links!

Li-C,
Are you also recreating the Labrynth (maze) part? If so, let me know what products (free or not) you use, I'd love to have a good maze type of prop.
