I agree - when you buy this software, no one tells you that a whole neither hobby is going to be sorting and editing files. It is the worse thing about using poser - there are no standards for naming of files and they end up all over the place. I rarely use Poser anymore for this reason.

Thanks to everyone for adice on this. I was having problems with it too - and with another DAZ texture as well. What an annoyance. Makes me think less of M4

I guess I do not mind the shorts, you can get rid of them if you need to/want to. I also like that he comes with a really nice texture - better than the poorly colored base figures of the past.
It is also cool that the base character texture, well, has texture - body hair, 4:00 shadow, etc. I say, well done!

I have had a problem I can not figure out with the Beck texture. His head does not accept textures and the brow appears and renders as all brown . . . he looks like a raccoon. His eyes do not accept textres either. So, not sure if it is a bug on my computer or with the components of all of these things. That is the only problem I have had.

Hmm. I have Vista and Poser 7 and this has been my experience. P7 stopped working so I had to reinstall it clean. This means that I am not adding in all my itemas all from srcatch. It is a drag - I had my P6 library linked, but I am doing it all in P7 now and using PoerPorter - a fab tool that you just drag your items to and it installs it. Never had a problem using it and I love it. It's free at this link too. Thank you so much the the person who wrote this tool!BTW - I wish that Poser could get the library issues worked out more. No one tells you that sorting and renaming files is going to need to become a second hobby when you adopt this one.

Could be needing a restart? Isn't Poser a memory hog? Maybe shut down and restart to fix it. . . I am wondering if this will work for you.

Thread: Vista......?? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I have had Vista for a while and I constantly have problems. Lately, Poser 7 won't even open for me. I've lost my hobby . . .
I have heard when you have a new computer that it is suppose to be a better expereince. I updated mine and not much worked - Poser did not work at all originally.
Do a search in the files here in the forums, and you will find postings that helped me. You need to switch some preferences. I think the problem was with OpenGL. . . I am not tecnigcal enough to fully understand this, but moving that to the other option worked to improve it for me.
Good Luck. You can make it work. I feel your pain.
My next computer will be a Mac - I am so turned off by Microsoft that I will never buy another PC.

Also consider something like Wardrobe Wizard - a clothing coversion product. Do a search and you will find the info about it.

Hey Steve, I didn't mean to imply anything about slacking or anything like that. I hope you diod not take any offense. I just noticed a change and really wondered if anything was potentially wrong. That's all - thanks for al you do.

Thanks to both of you for helping. . . now I know why I could not find some of there. . . they are not in Poser 7. Thanks FrankT!
I still do get the blurring that is mentioned, so something is amiss. . . I like Poser, but it seems overcomplicated about some things.

I agree - I like the G1s better than G2 as well. The new ones lost their personality.
Thanks so much for these - they realy are great! You are very talented.
