I think I am gonna be a guest at the megacon this next year and sell some books, print's, and stuff. Do some painting while I am there and what not. We will have to hook up there. I want to have something for sale from the waterdogs 3d stuff but who knows what I will have by then.

Ya EA is based here in Maitland. I am originally from Beantown Boston Ma. Just moved. As far as the inexpensive tools doing great work I agree one hundred percent. My saying is "A model is a model no matter what program it is in" and it is true. It is what you do to that model that makes it good and you. My personal website is www.markstef.com. I have been a painter for years. I am getting back into it to, I kind of stopped because of the comic thing. For the books I have like 10 copies left. I will be getting more sometime in like 2 months or so.

ahhhhhhhh! Man McG is the best. I have to say I loved Charlies Angels 1 and 2. I know a lot of people hated 2 but I dug it. It was really over over the top, but I took it in good fun.

Hey guys thanks for the comments, I really appreciate them. As far as the physical book, we are not publishing it anymore. I am going to publish them on my new virtual company called "Waterworks" There will be 3 titles and 8 pages per month will be published per title. We still have not figured it out. As far as Roaring goes. I actually helped the Dabel Brothers in the begining build that company. I was the Art director. We had some good times. I took a break from comics to do something else which is to be a texture artist. I used that Waterdogs piece as my demo. I am now working for EA Sports. Anyway glad y'all liked it, -Mark

Thanks Dominique that worked, question do you know how to export custom uv maps in lightwave, Like say just showing 4 sides of a building? and do you know if those uvmaps once textured will be fine in Poser?

o.k. I was successful on one but it was just a box, and then I keep crashing when I export the .obj and the bar says "facets" uvmapper just freezes. My objects are not just boxes they have othe edges to them like molding on the outside of a building. Any ideas....and thanks by the way Sharon and everyone else.

Hey Rich, I agree. I have Maya and Lightwave and your arguement is a strong one. The + side to Poser is the learning curve is easy. Maya and Lightwave is an extremly long one. I have a lot of friends that are in the 3-d world who use Maya and Lightwave and they tell me that Poser "looks to Poser and you cannot customize it and Lightwave and maya is better stop wasteing your time" but I Love Poser. I bet if there was a huge movie or T.V. show were Poser was used and it looked good people would jump on the bandwagon and be like" Oh my gosh!!! we need Poser now every one do poser" and the developers would put more into it. I did an intro type movie for an idea named "Waterdogs" which was a comic book I created. www.markstef.com/waterdogs.html for the comic the 3-d movie is here http://www.markstef.com/wdmovie.html I like it seeing it was the the first animations I ever did. I thought it was successful, definetly could be better though. But right now I am working on a new one that is gonna blow that away. I was going to do a series of eight webisodes 3 minute each then make it a dvd and try selling it. I got all the characters designed backgrounds planes, weapons, etc....and ready to go. The amount of animations and painting backgrounds is killing me though. The new intro should be done by next week. I will post it when it is done. But I think your right people should get together and do something cool. Hey if we can get like four or five animators that would be cool. We can do a Waterdogs episode if anyone is intersted. It is a cross between Charlies Angels/James Bond/Danger Girl/La Femme Nikita/ and V.I.P...... (Don't mess with V.I.P.). Anyway hope ya dig the goods. Chat with ya later -Mark
