Hmmm...thanks for your suggestions. I never used Poser 4, so that can't be the problem. I've been able to import models with different hair on them, so it must be something to do with the particular types of hair I was using. I will try a few more things and hopefully, I'll have an image to post soon :)

Ok, I've been able to load the hair object separately (not as part of the pz3 file), so I'll use that as a work-around. thank you for your help :)

I'm sorry...I'm not sure I understand what you mean. Vue isn't having trouble locating the hair object. It finds it and then says it can't load it.

I haven't had exactly that problem occur before, but I've had other strange ones. Things I tried: (1) closing vue, rebooting computer and re-opening vue helped most times. (2) Also, I've tried saving the poser file under a different name. Not sure why that made a difference, but it did in some instances.
