i can save in Vue with just the extension: .VUE, I can't save with the extension: .VOB
Also, I can't export with this extension.
Forget about this, I'll ask another question:
If I export from Max to Vue one attached part object, can I change any of its materials in Vue??
I tried to enter the material editor, but i can't find any texture map to select, when I go to the texture folder, i find it empty, though it's full of textures!!
How to solve this??
Thanks,
Sherif
Thread: Pivot point in Vue5!! | Forum: Vue
Hi,
Thank you for your reply, but I want to illustrate something:
When I export from Max to Vue by extension: .3DS this problem doesen't exist, and I can move the pivot anywhere, and it stills restricted in its new place.
** BUT** when I export from Max to Vue by extension .VOB the problem appears as illustrated before.
The .VOB extension is excellent cause the model travels from Max to Vue perfectly with all its parts in their proper places, and all materials also.
The extension .3DS may cause that some parts aren't in their right places and some materials are wrong applied, this's the reason of choosing the extension .VOB
** I tried the (reset) option, then move the pivot, save and colse, but when I re-open the file again, the pivot returns to its original place!!**
I don't know what to do??
Thanks,
Sherif Massoud
