Hello Cage,
No it's not an exact copy of what it looks like when it's constrained. It looks like it might be correct on 2 axis but the twist looks off.

Thanks so much cage for looking into this for me and writing these script. Very impressive.
I gave them both a try.
I took a cube and positioned it roughly 2 feet above a victoria's head . I then "point at constrained her head to the cube and then moved the cube Tx -10 on the first frame. Tx +10 on frame 30.
I now have the head tracking the cube over 30 frames.
I tries the scripts and they work in principle. The give the head a rotational value and relax the constraint but the rotation seems different than when it was constrained.
I might be doing something wrong.
