Actually I am surprised you folks haven't built an admin access area on your site so admins can tele-commute from anywhere in the world to change the site and monitor the database. Or wait, is that how the moderators of the forum work? Maybe there are just some functions you want to complete in-house.

I am checking out some free code right now from ActiveForum or as it is now known Buzz Company, course now they make you pay for the complete solution (like Bondware). Looks pretty good. Thinking about augmenting the whole shopping cart, library and advertising sections. Integration. (Had a little problem with a guy who put a program on his workstation which started entering the wrong data into our client's e-commerce databases. Had to reverse engineer it and actually made it better. So while I am in that mode, I figured that I would delete half my site. Woohoo!!)

Sort of goes along with an idea I came up with for some of the artists I am working with to provide a library of photographic images of buildings and environmental effects on my site for the artists to view when rendering their books. Working on that as I go, but I would appreciate contributions from other folks with great looking buildings where they live.

Does this bring us one step closer to an avatar virtual reality web rather than the text/image internet? We are in the 21st. century now. Slowly making that progession.
