but ithink the 4,0 to 4,03 patch is if you have the meta creations version of 4 to go to curios labs version of 4. My version is from curios labs. Am I right or wrong about this?

both installed? you must have lots of memory space. Well I have both so I can always install 5 later but still want to hear what others think. I love stability.

great thread I was playing with bones and came across some of thee bugs you mentioned thought it was just me. Especially the deformation of the mesh when you move an arm even with constraints. Question: I was going thru the tutorial on character animation and everything was fine except when I try to add my saved constraints from the right shoulder/ elbow / wrist of the left arm to the right arm. When I look at the motion transform section I see that that the constraints have been added but the arm will not move. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong? John

when you say a reinstall do you have to delete the old file and insert the disk or just insert the disk and install again. (Thats what I did) Not to technically adept John

Thanks for the warning I just purchased Poser 4 because of the special price and relatively low upgrade price for 5 if I want to upgrade later. I was going to go to amazon to buy a book on poser (I have had good luck with my Carrara books) but I will steer clear from mortimers book. I will try to get the other book you mentioned is that good at learning poser 4 (especially for a beginner poser user)
