If I may add my 2 cents.... Take for instance a musical artist. Most of the current artists out in the world today do not make the own musical instruments, but they do create art. The Poser issue is the same analogy. I have not created the models that I use in my work, even though I am an accomplished modeller in other packages. I use a piece from here and there to create an artwork, much like a conductor at the symphony. Without that conductor or arranger, the other elements would be just that...single elements not working in harmony. So I guess what I'm trying to say is without the composer/conductor/arranger, they would be elements making noise without a melody and harmony. That is how I view my work within Poser...the comPOSER/conductor of the final 3D artwork. Thanks for the ear.

Thanks. The puddle did give me some problems with the matl I put on it(it was part of the barrels prop) and def still don't think its the best I could have made it, but I've had pnuemonia over the last couple of weeks (sorta how I've been able to do stuff during the day) and its getting so close to Ryan's BDay that I really don't have the energy to wrestle with it any more. But yeah I agree I need to do something with it.

Hey Thanks Sam. Ryan's BDay is still week away, but he caught me working on the pic this afternoon. He thought it was real cool. Now I gotta find a way to get it on his wall with the Batman posters. For the last 2 years he's wanted a Batman birthday cake. Thanks to all of you folk's help, he wants a Capt Jack Black cake. LOL

WOW! Thanks Anton. I had PSP for a couple of years but never realized really everything that it could do like that. I suppose it's my fault for not experimenting more. Thank you again. I might be able to do some of this postwork stuff after all. I know the effects you folks do is not easy, and a lot of it just plain good eye and talent. Thanks for sharing the knowledge!

Hi Dave I think I was having that issue with the Tailor a while back. If I remember correctly, when I upgraded to Version 1.5 it fixed it. Could that be the problem? Hope it helps. Tim

Thanks guys. karen1573: I agree. The floor was one of the things that I was really unhappy with, but just didn't know what to do. I'll work on it. Suede: Good points. I'll try and work them in. As far as the pirate outfit goes, I can take NO credit for that. It is part of an excellent texture set by MOYRA available at DAZ. I've provided a link.Thread: Help and advice...for improvement | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hey Anton. Ya snuck in there on me. I'm a hunt and peck typist so pretty slow on the remarks. Yeah that mug does need some ale it doesn't it. Thanks and will oblige.

Excellent ideas. I will do my best to use them all. They would definately make it more interesting. Carolly: Hopefully I can "try" to do some of the postwork ideas that you have suggested. Being color blind, that could be rough, yet I will try. I agree that the lighting needs that extra something. Thanks for the ideas. Tim

Great ideas. Will try to incorporate them. I was also thinking of volumetric lighting on the lantern light with a patchy light mist or smoke over the entire scene. Do ya think that might be too much considering the dark light level of the image already? Thanks for the replies.
