Thread: Morph Magic and PoserWorld... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Ummm, that is very strange. I even could not open the http://www.poserworld.com page...
Maybe simply because I do not live in US and there is some internet connecting problem from home. Will try to log in with some other internet access next week... Thank you both for the help.

Thread: rendering large & more complicated images...anyone have much success in Poser?? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hi, reduce all the textures used in your scene to less than 1200x1200, reduce the number of lights to the minimum (I get along well with 3 to 4 usually), turn off 2 or 3 shadows of the lights if needed. And, if you are using dynamic clothings, export the proper ones as objects and import back to replace the dynamic pieces. My record so far is using four M3s (the high-poly models) with 18~20 conforming clothing props, four hair props and several others for the background and foreground, plus reflections on the ground and rims of the pool and the water. It did work in Poser 6.0 (but not in Poser 5, btw). Hope these tips will be of some help to you.

Thread: To all technoids : Will networking two computers aid render speed for Poser? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Instead of using dual CPUs or networking, my system engineer had helped me to design a workstation having the raid 0 structure using two harddisks. The result does suppot a very stable speed up to about 105,000 to 120,000 kb/s using one P4 3.06G HT processor and 1G of ram. Besides, seems to me this method is less expensive when compared to dual CPU system (especially if poser 5 does not take advantage of the second CPU...) ^_^ TK
Thread: Windows 2000 vs Windows XP for POSER 5 : ) | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I agree with RealDeal actually. I used a WinXp pro for my new workstation at home in the beginning, pissed off by all kind of merging problems associated with the stability of my Poser 5 and other 3D programs when dealing with multiple figure scenes, high-resolution textures and complicated material settings, so I took the advice of my system engineer to change back to my old Win2K Pro. Now I am a much happier renderer most of the time. You can download all those freewares to make your win2000 pro look nontheless fancier than winXP, anyway. ^_^ TK

Thread: Any good tutorials available for making transmapped type posable hair model? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I did find his (or her) hair models among those most admiring pieces (even much better than many commercial products), though neither did I find a tutorial on his(/her) current website...(sigh)... In a most desperate scenario, maybe I can send him(/her) an message to see if he(/she) would give some advices... Hopefully he(/she) wouldn't mind my rudeness then... Thanks for the info., nontheless. ^_^ Teyi

Maybe you want to check if everything is downloaded to the right folder inside your Poser as well? Don't change those folder structures of Daz's products unless you know what's exactly you want... Good luck and Good Night. ^_^

Did you actually get the Head Morph pack and Body Morph pack from Daz3D too? You will need to buy these two packages to change either the head or body's morphs on your Michael...
