My Poser used to hang ALL the time-- it was insane. I uninstalled, updated, restarted, and nothing helped. Turns out it was Flash. Uninstall Flash and use Firefox (not Chrome) while running Poser. Chrome has its own Flash and 2 copies of Flash conflicts with Poser (since Poser is running its own version of Flash).

Thanks for the reply. How can I change GC on the PR3 shader? And how can I change the bump/spec settings to custom gamma? Any links to tutorials, if avail, would be useful. Sorry I'm a bit clueless.

Also, I keep hearing how I should use gamma correction but it makes my renders look worse. On the left is the GC-corrected render and on the right is without.

OK, I figured it out-- there was something wrong with my V4 base. I reinstalled V4 base and now the eyebrows show up :D

I didn't apply a head morph, this is just V4. I do see a Z translation dial and it's set to 0. That being said, I don't see any band across the forehead, either.

I tried to see if her eyebrows were buried inside her head, like you said and I made the head invisible. I only saw her eyeballs and gums/teeth then (not eyebrows)

Thanks for the replies. The "eyebrow" body part is set to visible in the Pose room, same options as you see above in the mat room.

Happens to me all the time. I minimize and I unminimize and it goes back to normal. It only happens in Carrara for me.

To get an idea of how to make these textures look right, try rendering the same figure from the carrara browser. V4 for example, is available in Carrara, ready to render. Compare the texture settings to what appear on V4 from your Poser import. If you adjust your Poser import to similar settings, it will look pretty good.

Ok, thanks for the tips. I've done several Google searches for tutorials but didn't see anythign relevant. Do you mean the Carrara forums at Daz is where the tutorials are? I don't mean to sound lazy, but can you direct me to the link b/c I'm not entirely sure where they are.
