here's a suggestion: Deep Paint has the ability to select a portion of the UV map then remap in a 3D viewer so you can see your uv's projected and rotate the mapping coordinates in real time as you watch it unfold....then you can place the new uv's anywhere on your imagemap they have a demo version for download www.righthemisphere.com and tutorials there also.

Thread: Serious gamma problem in PS 7 ?? | Forum: Photoshop
Dealing with this problem has been one on going headache for years and years. I'm a printer by trade, so I get thousands of photos from thousands of people...nobody has the same calibration on thier monitors....so here's what I do to the 8 computers in my shop, start with Windows / Mac set the color profile as Adobe 1998 .....now go to all your image editors and set color pref's as Adobe 1998 and then use Adobe Gamma to set gamma for your sys and be sure to include it in your sys. start up.

Oh my God !!!!! never mind what that kid of mine thinks of it I WANT IT !!! 8-p hmmmmmm... we can't can't forget Lady Penlope's car can we ? .. the 6 wheeled Bently ...Ken Tyrrel actualy tried that in Formula 1 in the 70's ... that would be funny to do an animation in Bryce and ADD the wires to the models ..This model looks really cool and yes where I come from "knock up" means pregnant too...so you could use "knock up" if you model the green Thunderbird ship ;-)

I second the Real World Bryce book too...it's not cheap thats for sure, but it's over 900 pages of info try www.amazon.com they usually have used books for sale for a few dollars off, do the search by "Bryce" in the software section... Now for your render problem try saving that render/file with a new name ...file is probably corrupt...just rename it and do whatever you wanted to fix then do your render...also try this.... the "big red ball" render button, just to the left of it, is a smaller button....press that, then press the render button should speed things up here's a helpful item.... at www.vtc.com they have training programs (movies that play, with an instructor talking too) for tons of software programs....one of them is Bryce 5 they offer the first 3 chapters free just need to download and watch ...the free stuff will get you a lot farther then you are now ....I would suggest a monthly subscription for $25.00 ....but the book ( Real world Bryce) is more in depth

I vote for Indeo too...I've done tons of experimenting and Indeo is they way to go....I used to use DivX 4.xx whatever it was before 5 came out and it was great for the Videos I was doing (image captures of online car racing from video games) it was great for that ...but I've never been able to figure out how to get this Divx 5.0 to turn out any but crap ;-( from my Bryce, Poser or After Effects stuff.

Here's one for ya too....Corel Dream 3D...it's on the Corel Draw 8 CD....you can get that all day long on Ebay for less than $20.00 plus you get corel draw and Photo paint too...anyway Corel Dream 3D was Ray Dream 3.xx when Corel bought out Fractal....saves files as VRMl format (.wrl)goes right strait into BRYCE 5....fairly easy to learn and has nice Corel "Help" too......with Photo Paint you can make Symetrical Latices for Bryce...and you're pretty much good to go for a couple of months of experimenting / creating l8r, Timinator
