Thank you Ockham, your name strikes true. The simplest solution was the best one.
I owe you one...

SVDL/Steve,
Tried the script out today with the Hongyu Lingerie and it worked great. It looks like you adjust all clothing on the currently selected figure. I had to do a VERY slight amoutn of tweaking, but that's what I'd expect if Figure->Conform To... worked as it does in my dreams (if only everything worked as it does in my dreams...).
Thanks again, and I'll try to push the limits of the script to see what else it can do.
Later,
Jeff (twajjo).

Thanks-- I'll try it out.
BTW, I love all the stuff I've found of yours in Renserosity free stuff. I'm a big fan. Just one more thing to like about your work, Steven.
Thanks again.

Yes, I'll give it a try with the catsuit. I might have to wait until tomorrow since I'm still doing the move thing.
Thanks.

Sorry it took so long to get back, I'm moving my home office from my old cramped digs to a room that seems like the Astrodome in comparison.
There may be morphs by body part, too, but the ones I'm trying to copy are just on the figure body. As the example both you and I gave, I selected the body of the figure and attempted to copy to the bodyof the clothes. There are modified morphs on the figure body when I try the copy.
There are corresponding morphs on the body of the Hongyu Soft Lingerie. Those clothes, by the way are just an example. Do you know of specific V3 or A3 clohtes examples where copy/paste work? Maybe if there were specific clothes that Ctrl-C/Ctrl-V worked on, I might be able to figure out WHY they work and others don't...
Thanks.

I tried that. Yep, I know how to copy and paste. In fact, this was the first thing I tried even before posting. It made sense that this should work right out of the box.
The only problem is-- it doesn't work. I'm using Poser 6, if that makes any difference. But I've done that. Select morphed V3 BODY (not part), press Ctrl-C. Select Clothing BODY (not part) and pressed Ctrl-V. I could keep trying this, but then I'd meet the definition of insane. The manual says that this process wil copy poses but says nothing about morphs.
Got nothing. No morphs transferred. Nothing is locked. I'm not doing anything out of the ordinary from what I can tell. Is there a setting or configuration that has to be enabled to make this possible?
I'll try the SVDL script, too.
Thanks.

Deecey,
Thanks. I'll check out the Hogsoft folks. I like their CR2 Pro fix utility. It's great for cleaning up downloads with badly formed paths.
I'll keep my results posted...

Yeah, I've tried both of those, but I was wondering if there was a tool that would do that in Poser.
Wardrobe Wizard will conform a piece of clothing to an entirely different figure than it was originally intended. I just want to take a piece of clothing that is intended for Aiko 3, but morph its settings to match those of, say, Rhiannon's Meghan. The figure is the same, just the morph dials have been moved. The clothes are for Aiko, they just need to be adjusted so that the same-named morphs are set to the same settings on the clothes as the figure. WW appears to do this by tossing out the morphs themselves and literally adjusting the mesh of the clothing.
The Tailor may work fine, but it is done outside of Poser-- You've got to save the figure. Fire up The Tailor, adjust the clothes, save them as a new figure, now load them up in Poser. Why save a whole new cr2, when all I want to do is change the morph settings.
WW and The Tailor are kind of overkill in that they assume I'm trying to adjust the clothes to fit a whole new figure (in fact, WW (I'm not sure about The Tailor) completely stomps on the morph names after the transfer-- the clothes fit, but if you want the same morphs, you've got to recreate them). I've tried this and gotten some V3 clothes to fit The Girl, but the morph dials are gone after the transfer. I can accept this for figures that are completely different (V3 to Girl), but I'd just like all the dials that have the same name on a piece of V3 clothing to be set to the same settings as a morphed V3 figure. Same goes for Aiko3 clothing fitting an Aiko 3 morphed figure.
The algorithm seems straight forward:
Select Figure to grab morphs from.
Select Clothing to copy morphs to.
For each Morph in Clothing that has the same name in Figure (across each same-named body part, including "Body"), copy the figure morph setting to the clothing morph setting.
Aiko 3 Soft Lingerie
Realistic------------------------------------> Realistic
Voluptuos----------------------------------> Voluptious
etc.
Ignore any morph that is not common between the two figures.
Assume that the target is a piece of clothing intended for the figure in question, just that it does not fit. This algorithm is NOT intended to make Aiko clothes fit V3, V3 to fit the Girl, etc. I just want clothes that are intended to fit V3 to fit any V3 character that uses the stock V3 morphs.
I'm wondering if I should just write the python script myself. It seems so simple, I'm wondering why it's not just an existing simple script or some kind of common knowledge...
