I've discovered the problem was in some old scripts I had copied over. Started fresh and added my scripts back one by one, and only newer ones I actually use, and so far, so good. Thanx guys <}:)

Annnnd it's not working anymore. Click on the file/run python script or the script menu in the upper menu bar and nothing happens. Did a clean install of P8 again, no help. <}:(
this P8 looks like it is so nice, but it is nothing but frustrating around every corner so far.

Okay, I reinstalled P8 and now I can access it. Think I mucked it up adding that "flex utility" thing somehow...and not having coffee first, lol.

I am not having the easy peasy experience you are enjoying. I installed as directed but all I get is a page cannot be displayed whitepage. No matter if I run the py or not. I tried the flex app too, and I do have the start/stop buttons at the top, but no library.

Thank you Preston I will keep an eye out for a reply. Thank you too Annie, but the problem is not the path. If I open the runtime on my desktop, the files are not there in any folder, but I do appreciate your time to respond.

Thank you Preston for your prompt reply. The file structure is the same for both programs and most products that will load in Poser, will also work in DAZ. The material handling is usually where issues arise between the two, but that is not the case here. The problem is there are basic files needed to load the product that are just not there. I just tried again and found that if I try to load a scene file, I get the terrain prop and the tree props fine, but the background, fog, and the ground files are asking for their obj's, which appear to be simple planes and the ground is asking for a box file. I think the vendor simply forgot to include these simple primitives and so I did manage to create a plane and load the fog and its transparency files using my surface tab, (material editor in DAZ). I also just loaded a background from the texture folder using "edit/background". The ground file shows up in the scene tab, but not in the viewer, and also is not in my surface tab. So at least for the ground prop, I will need to build a box primitive to utilize it. It would be helpful if the vendor could supply the missing files, or if someone could recommend correct sizes and how to build/save them for usage in DAZ for me.
Thank you again,
Michelle Beck
