IIRC, the memory leak problem is caused by the undo stack.
Adamr has released a script to clear the undo stack, and recover the memory.
Details are here:

Which consumers do not qualify for. This is for companies that haven't upgraded from XP or have applications that do not work in later versions of Windows and haven't modified. Also they may be paying for that support.

Sorry, I think you are mistaken. Consumers are receiving extended support (security updates). I know I am.
I think you may be confusing their hardware (Xbox etc.) with the OS. (Consumer, Hardware, and Multimedia products).
Here is the link for Windows XP.

Windows XP became a special case because the new Netbooks could not run the bloated Windows Vista. (Several very large computer companies demanded the extended support).
Support for the current, and previous versions of software has been the industry standard for over 40 years!

Quote - You may get automatic updates as a courtesy, but if you had a software issue and you tried to call support, you'll be told to upgrade to the next version as the software is end of life.
I'm not saying that that issues that people have should have been fixed (only issue i've had is that big memory hole that was never plugged), but I doubt that's going to happen as the new version is out and that's where the effort is going. There does however needs to be a focus on producting rock-solid software with the current feature set before adding new functionality and getting the documentation out the door. With some of the efforts of getting Genesis technology into other applications, that platform needs to work and well documented.
Per the Microsoft document you linked above, the end of extended support for Windows XP is April 8, 2014.

Quote - Does anyone have a EULA template that I could use to create a license for my products?
I will be selling my non-Rendo products at CP and have to create my own license.
This is something I am stumped on as I don't know if I can use the ones from any other site as examples. Some of my Antonia products will go there but most will be sold here.
This is such a complex issue that you might want to consult a lawyer with intellectual property expertise.

Ok lesbentley,
I tested the Pyramid.cr2, and Pyramid_2.cr2 in DAZ Studio 2.3.3.146, 3.0.1.144, and 3.1.0.126 (D|S 4 beta). The results are the same for all 3 versions:
Pyramid loads as a cube, and the slider has no effect.
Pyramid 2 loads as a Pyramid with the slider defaulted to 1. It morphs to a cube at 0.

lesbentley,
I tried the Pyramid_3A.cr2 in DAZ Studio 2.3.3.146, 3.0.1.144, and 3.1.0.126. None of the sliders do anything. I also tried in Poser 8, and PoserPro2010. Cube 1 will change from a pyramid to a cube proportionate to the slider position. Cube A and B "snap" between Pyramid, and cube. Cube C dos nothing.

Thread: What can Poser Pro do that Poser 8 Can't? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hello 9841007,
I read the comments at Amazon you reference. Then I reread the Poser 8 EULA.
My lay opinion is that bynnyrabbit4 is mistaken.
You own the content you create with the program.
The EULA has specific examples of what is and what is not permitted.

It is a windows feature, not a poser problem. Yes there is something you can do about it.
You can disable the Aero "Snap and shake"
Open Control Panel>Ease of Access Center>Make the Mouse easier to use.
Near the bottom of the window, Check the box next to "prevent windows from being automatically arranged when moved to the edge of the screen". Then click "apply", and "OK"
See the screen shot.

Yea, That is one of Windows 7's new Annoyances!
Drag any window to the top of the screen, and it "pops" to full screen (also an inadvertent "double click" at the top of the window, like when you really just wanted to move the window).
