For KristiS,
I understand and appreciate all the hard work you guys have done but you released this upgrade far too soon. Imagine buying a car from the dealership. You take delivery but there are no wheels and no engine. The dealer tells you to be patient, they will be providing them in due course.
I normally received 15 ebots alerting me to new posts by my favorite artists. Today, two. Let's see if things improve.

Hello KimberleyC:
I do appreciate the updates and the efforts to address our concerns but without the ebots Renderosity has effectively killed off the galleries.
BTW - "That which does not kill us" still hurts like hell.

I just checked my smart phone and was able to see the gallery images with no problems. HOWEVER, during my 30 years in the aerospace industry I had occasion to work on construction of a number of web sites. In my industry we NEVER released web software until it had been thoroughly tested, de-bugged and tried by test volunteers. The idea that "we will fix it in post production" is costly and just doesn't work. What we are experiencing now on this site suggests that someone took shortcuts. I do not doubt the good intentions of the staff of Rendorosity or their ability to fix the problems people are experiencing. But by the time they do this people may be so pissed off it will not make any difference. Food for thought the next you guys make "improvements" to the site.

The upgrades need a little more work. Uploaded an image and the punctuation screwed up as it often does but now I can't edit the page. Tried "Edit in fullscreen" but got nothing. Is this permanent or are you still working on it?

I am always honored and a little surprised to be included in this list of such talented people. One of the best parts of this list is the opportunity to discover new artists. Thank you.

And while we are whining:
What happened to the Edit option on our posts?
We can no longer get price information by hovering over a thumnail in the 'What's Hot' listings.
It seems once a day since the improvements I'm getting a SQL error 'Too Many Connections' and can't access the site.

The greatest gift I can receive is recognition from fellow photographers. Thank you so much for choosing my image 'Just Hanging Out'. It is an honor to 'hang' with so many fine artists.

Ok Carin, since you asked, here is the Tower Bridge from my recent visit to Sacramento, California. I was there for a Meet-And-Greet with PJ (MrsLubner), her daughter Heather (budweiser_girl), Greg (gemb1) and Costa (costapanos).Thread: 2010 Last Week in the Gallery 33 | Forum: Photography
