Sounds like you could have cookies disabled on your browser, that could make the page reset like that. But if it worked fine before... have you changed browser settings or installed a new browser? A new version of Internet explorer is out, you could try installing that.

Suggest You reset the colour palette settings back to their default. You can do this by going to the 'Adobe Photoshop Settings' folder and deleting the file (do this without Photoshop active):- Color Settings.psp All these files in this folder contain your preferences that are saved when you exit Photoshop. If you delete them they reappear reset to their default settings. If you're worried about deleting this file, just drag it into another folder for now.
