I just received a follower notice from a DeniseHedeen5 : https://www.renderosity.com/?uid=863948 The link on the page itself leads to some adult site. Over 3000 being followed in just a day? Looks like a bot account to me.
Is there an option to block the account? I can't find it.

I thought the deadline for entries was the end of the 18th? I had an entry to submit. Where are the published rules?

Thread: Vendors' Store Pages Not Displaying Beyond First Page | Forum: Community Center
This is from the FB page (dated 30 June):
To all concerned, our loyal customers, vendors, staff, companies who's forums are hosted at Runtime DNA: as you know we went live on Saturday for a VERY short period of time before our site crashed.
Please know that crash was minor, and requires an optimization of our database, which is currently being set up for that optimization. We lost no data, nothing corrupted, there are just pieces, of a giant puzzle, being put back together in an order that makes one whole picture, one viable site that will run.
There is no way this could have occurred live. We thought we could open the forums but we couldn't. We intregate two totally different softwares, from different companies, to combine a whole site. And then we require the store cart company to reprogram the entire store and forum to our specificaiton, when we jump they jump. They've been fantastic, and just as frustrated, but, also thrilled at what we've created together.
We literally went from one site and forum software to another that was VERSIONS past the first. We had so much customization to the DNA store, that had to be recustomized into an entirely new store , because that is what you, our customers are used to;l we made it so
When we reopen, there will be a few bugs, there always are, it takes 6 weeks after a site reopens to work out all the kinks, this is our third incarnation, we've done this twice before, we were also closed 15 days the last time.
Thank you again for your patience, Eric and I are up working at 5:30 every morning straight through to now, its 12:28 am my time.
Tis the nature of the beast. I hate to use such a boring cliche, but thats technology for you. Truth.....
Syyd

There is an update notice on the RDNA home page:
"Hello everyone, we appologize for the delay in re-opening. We are nearly ready to re-open the doors to the store and the forums. We will use this space to keep you informed. Again, thank you for your patience."
If the site goes live and is glitch-free then it will really be worth the wait. I would appreciate it a lot more that they have a fully functional site that opens later than scheduled over one that opens as scheduled with issues.

I don't know what you mean by "hard refresh." I cleared the browser's cache and it still doesn't work (more often that it does).
The vendor pages of ironman13, Rhiannon, P3D-Art, Mytilus, and Sabby don't work for me.
The vendor pages of Seven, 3DSublimeProductions do.
Everytime now, when RMP decides to "pretty up" the site, it makes the shopping experience an unpleasant one. I would prefer that the site was more functional than have all this eye candy and have links that don't work.
RMP ought to spend more time on improving the search engine than working on a new layout.

Quote - aww come on!! leave it alone - if it is not broken, don't fix it!!! hate hate hate the new look!!!
"it take a minute to tweak, be patient"... Stacey, we don't want the new look, period..why does this keep happening? are the programmers bored?
My sentiments exactly. I'm still in shock.
Last time, it was (and still is) the awful shade of blue. Now this. It hurts! Make it go away!
Thread: I have to say on the new 'site look' | Forum: Community Center
Quote - At this point I think it's fairly obvious, from both the given responses, and the lack there-of, that Renderosity has every intention of keepinig this color scheme whether people like it or not. They may be willing to tweak what they have done, but they are not willing to consider reverting. So be it. It is their site, and people don't have to come here if they don't like it.
However, (it is my opinion that) refusing to offer patrons the option to use the old color scheme (even for their own viewing) is nothing more than a stubborn power trip - considering that it would be much easier to code the site with a two-click preference option (which they already have the specs for) than it is to expect thousands of users to change browsers and/or re-code all of their preferences individually in dhtml. (... so much for the concept of 'community'.)
Visiting an art site is something that should be enjoyed, not endured.
Once again, I can only hope that my frustrated response will have some positive impact on the view-ability of this site. We really aren't asking for much, just a simple color-scheme option. I don't understand why Renderosity would continue to refuse such a simple, and reasonable request.
Obviously, Renderosity has spent a gazillion of copper pennies to come up with the conclusion that this particular shade of blue is the bomb. What do us mere netizens know about color schemes and marketing studies anyway? Did we spend all that time and treasure in market research and design? Nooo. And yet, they are willing to throw a bone to the natives. Though it's in the company playbook not to admit to making mistakes in the first place, otherwise heads may roll.
Though come to think of it, it's us paying customers that have involuntarily funded this particular monstrosity of a change in the first place. And guess where the money for staff salaries comes from? So we have every right to gripe and not "get used to it," if we're not happy.
Isn't it strange that there isn't a poll regarding customer satisfaction on the new color scheme? Wonder what the numbers would tell us? Hmmm.

Quote - No there isn't.. Give yourself some time to get used to it:) I absolutely love it the more I see it!!
Who decided on the color change? My eyes hurt. Owww.
What is with this "get used to it," attitude? Renderosity can do no wrong? If enough people complain... Remember when Gap decided to change their logo? What a fiasco that was.
