The tutorial were made for Vue 3, I have changed one sentence. You should read: 3. Now, you see the fire tree leaves in the vegetation window. Double click at it, choose PROCEDURAL COLORS. Double-click in the color window and select white color. In the BUMPS window, choose the NULL function. Click OK. What happend for you is, that, when you applied the WHITE material, you have changed something in transparencies too. If the firetree has not any more transparency function applied, it looks as yours above. If you need more help, just let me know. Thanks:-) Guitta

Its nice too. For more snow, just push the second tree very slightly up. As each firtree is different from the previous, you may choose another one to get nicer effects:-) Guitta

THAT tree is from the planet "Slopterra". It fits in real well there. BUT, I need a tree for the planet Earth...LOL.
