Normally unless its contest related ive not posted my links to here but im actually quite suprized by how fast modelling in xfrog is turning out. Sadly though, im using glass with zero refraction (any refraction and kiss your week goodbye rendering), and it still took over 2 days on a new top end machine. Btw if ya care, its 1/2 price till the 25th at $99. And no, I in no way have anything to do with the company other then having bought it last Febuary. http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=297045&Start=19&Sectionid=2&WhatsNew=Yes

Wow! Great model. Is that all one model or several? What about file size, how big? Thanks for posting the link. Arleen

A single model for the middle thing, about 750,000 polygons. The one im doing right now is closer to 1.4 million, a 40 meg 3ds file.

That image is sooo coooooll!!! It must take hours to import a 1.4 million 40 meg 3ds-file.

The November issue of "DIGIT" magazine has a copy of Xfrog 3.0 as a freebie. Where can I see more Xfrog art?

Try their main site: http://www.xfrogdownloads.com/greenwebNew/gallery/galleryStart.htm Note that xfrog is a plant modelling software at its basics, its the few that use it for non plants that make the weird shapes. The basic purchase includes a few dozen random plants to boot. Way i see it is i bought a procedural modeller that should i need it has a plant making engine for free haha.
