Well, I've gotten back into texturing fish again. And well, the choice of fish models is becoming rather limited. I mean, how many times can one texture the poser Angelfish? lol. Anyway, I'm asking for help. I want to continue giving back to the community by offering free textures. However, I need help to do so. I need new models to texture...I would prefer to keep texturing fish or aquatic life. So, if there are any modelers out there that would not only create models to offer for free, but also allow the modification of those models to match my textures, I would be VERY happy to hear from you. You see, I texture models in .obj format because that's what I'm good at. If the model is in .3ds format I can easily convert it, but I must be allowed to offer the model in .obj format to fit my textures maps. To put it simple, I need modelers to create .obj format models or .3ds models (with permission to modify to .obj) so that I can continue to make new textures for the masses...for FREE. Someone help please! You can visit http://members.designheaven.com/~schnaps/ for samples of the models I've textured so far. Also, I'm going to put a list of fish on the site that I'd like to see made into models...if you are interested. You can contact me personally at schnapss@cox.net if you are interested or have other ideas for me. Here's hoping that I can continue to offer FREE textures to everyone!

Give me some references for whatever species of fish and I will model some meshes for you in your desired .obj format.

Yeah, that's where I got most of my models from so far. Toucan is kind enough to let me modify his models as long as I don't sell em...which I don't!

Not really what you're asking for, but as a person who had a salt water tank for years, I can tell you if you get a triggerfish .obj, you should be able to make LOTS of textures for it as there are many colors and types.

No, Triggerfish are one of the fish I'm looking for. I would like to do both freshwater and saltwater. Both are fine with me, I enjoy both.
