In several parts. 'Twas the night before morning, and all through the 'net Not a Brycer was stirring, not even AS Every single computer, the Mac and PC Were rendering pictures to post on 'Rosity The Brycers were nestled, all snug in their beds While visions of upgrades danced in their heads It had been a great year of sharing their WIPs, Trading jokes and techniques and the odd little tip

When from every computer there arose such a beeping, It woke up all those who were peacefully sleeping Away to their keyboards they flew like a flash All terrified that their programs had crashed

From their monitors came a gentle, soft light
That quickly reassured them everything was all right
Then, what to their wondering eyes should appear,
Several primitive objects, cones, tori and spheres

They formed up a being, so quirky and nice,
All knew in a moment this must be St. Bryce
More rapid then lightening, he rendered a scene,
That reminded each Brycer of their favorite dream

The textures were perfect, the models so cool
A few of the Brycers, well they started to drool
He called all the Brycers by their personal names,
Saying, "Living in cyberspace is getting quite lame."

Then the printers and hard drives began making noise,
The monitors flashed with mauve and turquoise
And the keyboards were tapping along by themselves
While the mice nearly scrolled right off of the shelves

As the Brycers stood wondering, 'What does this mean?' Even the speakers began loudly to keen. Then quite suddenly everything simply stopped And into the silence, St. Bryce appeared with a pop.

He was textured in defaults, from bottom to top And the textures kept changing, they just wouldn't stop. A great handful of spheres he juggled with ease Then he made them all vanish, as quick as you please

He eyes clearly boolean! His dimples were terrains! His nose was a lattice, it was all very strange His odd little mouth was made with a torus What he had for a beard looked a lot like a forest

Through some sort of pipe he blew a great cloud The fabulous sort that would make anyone proud He had a broad face and a round little belly Animated to shake like a bowl full of jelly

Constructed of primitives, as he clearly was, Made every tired Brycer laugh without pause A wink of an eye and a twist of his head Soon gave them to know, they had nothing to dread

He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work Constructing an airplane, then turned with a jerk And gathered up all he'd need on vacation It was clear he would visit every last nation

He sprang to his plane, which flew up into the sky And smiling, St Bryce breathed a contented great sigh But I heard him exclaim, here he flew out of sight, Happy Brycing to all, and to all a good night!

Oh Lin, this is soo cute. I just love it, shared it with my kids and they love it. I know I will be showing it to friends through out the holiday season. Great job. It sure brightened my day.

Very Clever! I've just got the B5 upgrade (delivered by Fed Ex as I was reading this!) Providential? Well, gotta go, Bryce 5 awaits!

lsstrout, There's only one word that I would change, if I were the author or some such mage. A simple replacement rathar than to rearrange, upgrades to plugins though it may sound strange. Merry Christmas, - TJ

Thanks everyone! Everything is a bryce primitive, lattice or terrain, and the textures are all the ones that come with Bryce. Lin
