Get as far as open v3 object file and trying to import uvs and select the v3 uvs folder created by installer and there is nothing to select. When I open the folder outside of UVmapper the 2 files are there. Using UVmapper Mac 0.2.9 Has any mac user had any luck with the uvs files provided by Daz?

I'm not Mac user, but the UV's work on PC. Well is some errors in it, but mostly work.

You should probably wait for the Daz Character Animation Tool if you want to use V3, since Poser is not really a Mac app anymore.

Since when did Poser 4 stop working on a Mac? Sheesh.

Don't have V3 yet but I wonder if the files need a Type and/or Creator in the resource fork. That's usually what's wrong when files don't show up. UVMapper exports UVS files with Type="TEXT" and Creator = "R*ch" and that wouldn't be included if DAZ just used the PC files. UVS does work on the Mac, btw. Best- Dan

use work to translate from rich file to text file or the oposite, it work I use Visual studio for all that is faster, but befort i'm was using word 6 or 2000 it should work also on a MAC !

not sure exactly what I'm supposed to changed on uvs in my text editor. Can you go into more detail? As for poser not being a mac program anymore that's bogus. A mac version of poser 5 will eventually come out and until then Poser4 is working great for me! As for V3 I've had no problems using her in poser on my mac so far I just have some favorite V2 textures I'd like to use for her.

You should use UVS MapDecoder, not UVmapper.

Got it to work! I think Daz may have changed their download since I grabbed a copy. (or I grabbed the wrong file, Although both are .sit files) Download now is only one uvs and it clarifies it's mac.Decided to take a look after getting the bikini at Daz to make sure I was following their directions correctly and noticed that they now mention that the mac download is only 1 uvs file instead of the 2 I had in my folder. Thanks for the support.
