I like the sky but somehow it seems kinda boring. Whenever I try to improve something (like more details no the castle walls) then it kinda distracts though.

Maybe some plants growing on the wall. Some lightning? some dark spikey bushes in wich the camera is hidden? It looks cool already, I can't wait to see what it becomes when you're finished.

Thanks Rayraz... Made it a little different with the bushes but thought your ideas were great

I think the camera might be to close. Maybe back it off and down a bit?

I tried the camera position further away first.... but I didn't like the result. it's 100% Bryce.. only contrast is a bit enhanced later

The only suggestion I have is to use a lattice object for the water flowing out of the pipes, to give the water a more realistic look. the inset in the picture I've provided here shows how I drew the lattice object in the Terrain Editor. The object has the preset material for water found in the glasses category, with a bump map added to roughen it up a little. Great pic, by the way, and I like the camera angle.

This is not my "second childhood". I'm not finished with the first one yet.

seems kinda odd that the building is all one piece instead of stone blocks, but I really like it as is, too, and the lightning and plants really add to it

ok.. thanks for the info about the water.. I modelled the water because I thought the terrain editor could not do what I wanted... How I'm proven wrong :) Will put myself at work with it once more

Picture looks cool. If you want a more aged look, might want to carve chunks out of the wall.
