Do you have IK turned on for the hands? That might be doing it.

Ok has anyone got an answer to this question? I've turned off, turned on, scaled, sized, srunk and morphed but hands still look wierd. I want to make the arms "short" for a character the standard arms look wierd, hang to low at the side of the body.
