Dan of Daz3d has stated that they want to make Daz Studio compatible with 3rd part applications, but has promised NOTHING. Since Daz Studio is still in early stages, compatability with Poser content is priority 1 right now. Very little info available to date, you may want to do a search of the threads here for "DazStudio" and read some of the posts. They said they would try for a press release or more info in Jan. MAYBE. My bet is 1st quarter 2003 you'll have a lot more info and questions will be answered more clearly. my 2 cents.

Even tho I think I would rather have Daz Studio rather than Poser 5, I will probably do anthing I want to export to Vue in Poser 4. Only because Vue 4 meshes with Poser 4 so damn well ;o). Laurie

I hope they make it compatable with LightWave. Ron

I guess it's to their benefit to make it compatible with any company who will "work" with them. (But Vue should come first...for all us people with the cheaper software...LOL)

Purely speculation on my part, but I would suggest that Lightwave would be on the list, as DAZ already does some work in this area. I also hope for Vue, but it's possible that this may depend on how things work out between CL and e-on vis a vis P5 compatability.

I would settle for robust object export. It can be used universally.
