got a few more morphs done, but most importantly, lucifer has been mapped. not entirely happy with the torso/legs section -- same texture as face & wings, but at a larger scale -- a little too nappy looking at that size i think. intend to replace ...

This bat is looking very good indeed. I love the fur texture.

Excellent work. A fine level of detail, on both mesh and textures. Questions: Blink morphs? Posable eyes? Mimic compatibility?

He's cute!!! I mean that in an evil, sinister way, of course... Wouldn't want to upset Lucifer or his dark master. ;)

Ooooo, I like him. :) Beth

while luc has blink morphs (his eyes are in fact partially closed in the sitting pose above) i had not thought of him as a talking creature and therefore hadn't considered mimic compatibility. it's a possibility, but not currently on the top of my list. his master lilith however is 100% mimic compatible. and since his eyes are solid black orbs, i hadn't made them poseable. they'd look the same in any position.

Little_Dragon posted Sun, 29 December 2002 at 5:23 AM

I wasn't sure if that was a partial blink or just a frown morph. Cool. >> ... i had not thought of him as a talking creature .... You're clearly not a fan of the animated films Ferngulley, Anastasia, and Bartok the Magnificent, then. I've Mimic-ified so many figures now that it isn't really a big issue for me any more, unless the mesh doesn't have a mouth to start with. With your permission, after Lucifer is released to your online store, I could make him Mimic-ready as a free add-on or something.

Wow, what a nice critter. I think he is cute and on the third image he looks like he is grinning :-). Great job!

Freaking cool. =)

you have my permission feel perfectly free to make whatever add-ons you like -- and feel perfectly free to charge money for them as well. the only reservations i would have are the usual ones about not distributing any parts of the original mesh or textures.

Little_Dragon posted Mon, 30 December 2002 at 4:04 AM

As long as I don't have to modify the geometry (as was necessary for the mouthless House Mouse), the only item I need to distribute is a CR2 with some additional phoneme morphs. And it's useless to others unless they already have the figure. I can see from your pics that he has an excellent mouth interior already, so no worries. When can we expect Lucifer to be available, and how much?

i expect to unleash him & his accessories sometime in january, at which time i'll have determined a price.
