heya; i think it looks great. the letterbox format is very nice, everything fits into the composition well. there seem to be a lot of flying critters for a 'desolate' place. maybe take out a few of the smaller ones?

The land is too flat. It should have some vegetation as well. Very few deserts are pure sand. I'd suggest a rougher texture for the dragon, scales perhaps. The dragons should be leaving shadows. Lastly, reposition the dragon near the camera. It would look better if it framed the picture with its wing.
