Any idea why this is? I noted the joint editor before and after the parenting, and nothing seems to change there. I can manually move the thighguard back to the leg, but I can never get it to fit as perfectly as it was before I parented it. ANY help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

are you using inherit bends when you parent it? if so, try without, if not, try with :)

Hey, thanks for responding so fast. No, that didnt do the trick unfortunately. I found something funny though, parenting it to the left buttock instead of the thigh keeps it in the same place like I wanted, but it doesnt move with the leg (as expected). Hmm, back to the drawing board.

Hi Syn, I have similar problem... I think that you use the wrong obj file of Vicky... Don't export the character from Poser but use directly the obj file of Vicky in geometry subfolder of Poser (same technique for making clothing). Hope help you, Mav :) P.S. sorry for my english

I was pretty sure I used the obj file in the geometries folder, but I could be wrong. Thanks for the tip, I'll check :)

The V2 figure comes in slightly posed, so props built using her raw obj as a template will pop in to the wrong position (why clothes don't fit her until AFTER they are conformed). Try turning off the IK in her legs (she goes knock kneed if you don't) and zeroing the figure before adding your prop. -- Mark

Thanks Mark, using the obj file from the geometries folder and zeroing the figure did the trick :) Thanks to Maveris too :)
