Is ther any way that the vict2 clothes fit on v-3 ? , other way than purchasing the tailor from daz ? If I do purchase the tailor, is it hard to use it ?

The best way to find out is to try it :) there's a demo version in freestuff here, do a search for tailor or codetwister. Oh yeah & it's really easy to use ;)

I agree with c1rcle ... The Tailor is very usefull and easy to use. Chris

Funny I've never been able to get my head round lightwave but The Tailor is dead simple for me :)

Any chance for a mac version for tailor or another program like it? The mac people could really use a way to convertall their V2 clothes to V3.
denis99 posted Sun, 29 December 2002 at 10:48 AM
I tryed to convert using tailor and mannikin but It freeze and I can't finish it, anyone got the same problem ?
c1rcle posted Sun, 29 December 2002 at 10:54 AM
are you sure it's freezing & not taking a long time? it can take a while if you choose more than 1 morph at a time.
dialyn posted Sun, 29 December 2002 at 11:00 AM
I'm having zero luck with the mannikin and Tailor...Tailor tells me there are no morphs after I've clicked what seems like the only available morph box. I guess I just don't understand the program or the tutorial. Sigh. It wouldn't be the first time. Back to beating my head against the monitor.
c1rcle posted Sun, 29 December 2002 at 11:22 AM
denis99, dialyn have you got the latest version? v1.1 is available over at Daz as a free upgrade for v1.03.
dialyn posted Sun, 29 December 2002 at 11:28 AM
I just checked...I've got v1.1. What I need is an upgrade to my brain.
c1rcle posted Sun, 29 December 2002 at 11:31 AM
lol did you use the wizard or just go with it on your own?
dialyn posted Sun, 29 December 2002 at 11:35 AM
I used the wizard.

It's all Greek to me. I have tailor and have NEVER been able to use it satisfactorily. Emily
dialyn posted Sun, 29 December 2002 at 12:07 PM
Actually it's all geek to me....you're not alone, Emily. But one of these days, we may have a breakthrough. There are things I swore wouldn't work no matter what I did, and then something went "snap" and suddenly everything became much clearer. I'm still waiting with Tailor. But I am optimistic it will happen. Really.
denis99 posted Sun, 29 December 2002 at 1:05 PM
I updated to 1.1 tailor, working faster and do not freeze but.... I am working with the mannikin to tranform v2 cloths to V3 , and the cothes still not fitting. I have only one morph that I can change and it is the full morph, is there a mistake on my side ?
c1rcle posted Sun, 29 December 2002 at 1:27 PM
nope denis you got it, you just need the jp pose that someone posted here, can't for the life of me think who it was & it's not in the readme either :(

I download it but now what am I supose to do ? where do I put those file and do I continue to use tailor and mannikin ? A full day working on that ...
c1rcle posted Sun, 29 December 2002 at 2:14 PM
you can save the poses to any pose folder & use them on the dress in poser & it should fit properly to Vicki3. Once you'evw saved the dress in Tailor you don't need it till the next time you want to mess with some clothes.

You must remember to allow Victoria the occasional restroom break during lengthy work sessions.

Select vic's body, go to figure > use inverseKinemateics > un-check the R/L legs. Then click on Window > joint perameters > Zero Figure. That will fix it. Tashar 59
