After all that interest in the cover contest I thought I would give it a go.
I used a photograph and messed with it in Photoshop and only one of the seeds as an overlay just to add some colour.

OK Jack because its you, but you have got to keep up, LOL 1. Picture scanned in to Photoshop 2. Cropped to size and cleaned up 3. Image>adjustments>Desaturated 4. Copied onto new layer 5. Then Filter>sketch>Chrome applied and layer changed to soft light 6. Merged with original layer 7. Then Used Image>adjustments>Hue&saturation checked the colourize box and changed to sepia 8. You keeping up Jack? 9. Now for the arty bit 10. Filter>liquify 11. Using the reflection tool, changing brush sizes and using the shift button to give straight distortions made the arty abstract. 12. Opened seed dragged and dropped into new layer 13. CTRL T and stretched the seed till it fitted in with the image 14. Changed layer blend mode to softlight and merged with final image 15. OK Jack? Hoping this still makes sense only one last step 16. New layer, airbrush with soft edges black paint and darkened the top and edges to suit the mag overlay. 17. Merged down into one and finished 18. All done Oh! The seed, sorry Spiderwebb, I used Audre no3 **:0)**
