I am happy to announce the winners of the contest. I'll need each winner to contact me and let me know if they're in the U.S. or not so I can get the appropriate gift certificates. (Barnes and Noble if in the U.S., Amazon.wherever-appropriate if not.)

[Drum roll, please ...]

Poetry Winner: jstro - "A Cup of Kindness Yet"
Poetry 2nd Place: SndCastie - "My mother's love"

Prose Winner: BellaMorte - "Just Another Day ... Or is it?"
Prose 2nd Place: Caledonia - "Mintaka and the Christmas Rose"

Congratulations! Your entries are up in The Library under Mixed Contests. (The links should be working better now. I found a bigger hammer.) ;-)

Thank you to everyone who participated!

Well, here's tipping my (digital) hat to the First Place winners and a hearty ('nuther digital) "well done pat on the back" for a job well done by all.
