Well, I used some of the sugestions offered and so here he is... Early morning, a shaft of soft chanpagne light penetrates the forest canopy, sleeping snugly in his mother's nest of fur under the protection of new ferns, Newt dreams of the new day, and all the new adventures to be had.... Zhann

No post work except my signature, I used the blend transparency on the white fur surrounding him, turned off the sun, one champagne colored radial light to the right with partial soft shadows (boy! does that up the render time), there was however alot of prep work, ferns by Transpond.....comments or suggestions?

I like this one better, the blend transparency gives the white fur a smokey, hazy, dreamy look. I think this is a final.

This is not my "second childhood". I'm not finished with the first one yet.

Nice, Zhann. Really nice. A lot of work but in the long end, well worth it.

This is the FINAL then, thanks everyone for your help, the nice thing is I got to do a landscape of sorts and a "new beginning", can't wait to do a full blown Bierstadt type of landscape!

Sad to say, I didn't know who Bierstadt was. Sent me into search mode. Thanks to you, now I know who he was. His work IS very much like the best Bryce landscapes. I recommend to all to surf around for instances of his art. Gorgeous landscapes.

I think you've definitely nailed it Zhann. The fluffier white fur and softer shadows really add to the feel of newness. Lin
