1.6 is the latest P3dO. After nearly one year pause - on the forum - where P3dO has severely suffered from Windows XP, P3dO is here again. The 1.6 is a major improvement in image viewing as well as many inner additions. - Control selection (like Windows Explorer) - Image preview with auto stretch. - Zoom improved. - Poser 5 runtimes added to Go To menu (still a bit buggy - will be fixed with 1.6.2). - Poser material (.mt5, mz5) file format added. - New translation system. Bug fix: At last Copy/Paste after renaming a file Since 1.5.3 (the last upload on Poser forums) the addons are even more significant. As well the plugins (ZipExplorer, PatRenamer, AWK, Rsr2Png) have all been updated in 2002 and should be renewed. I am preparing new plugins (one for Carrara and one for the Sims), as well as a 3D viewer for P3dO. Also planned is an AWK update to read through Poser compressed files. I've severall plugins projects running at the same time, some are postponed and others suddenly burst out from nowhere. i.e. the ZipExplorer project is still alive but has been ranked low priority compared to 3D viewing. I've a P3dO request form on my web page and this request form is used to decide which are the priorities of the Poser community. One was Control selection - now done - next one is 3D viewing - also coming. The 3D viewer will be based on my 3D viewer See3D and will support Poser files and then more. I would like to thank those who took time to fill the request form (also called Poll), be sure all requests are taken into account. I've also a mailing list on the P3dO page that will be used to mail you for P3dO updates (about 4 scheduled this year).
