I've been considering whether or not to purchase this because sometimes after toning up a character, the clothing needs to be tweeked. How well does that tool work? Does any know if it works for V3? Thanks!

For me, it's had good results on all but one outfit. I consider it indispensible because I make a number of custom characters. I know the comments in the V3 file confuse Tailor, but I think you can get around that by saving her again from Poser, which strips those out.

I don't have Vicki 3 though. I found with some clothes - I think it's ones that don't have a hip part, like shirts and blouses - that the Tailor-ised clothing would come in high in the air over the figure's head. That can be fixed by using Morph Manager to manually transfer the Tailor morphs back to the original CR2. In summary: it's not perfect, but it's waay better than doing everything by hand!

Like Elektra I am thinking about purchasing the Tailor... Does anyone know, if there will be an updated Tailor for V3?

How bout this? You need to download two files I will try to find the old thread that explains how to do it. Already works with V3 for most clothes. Marque

Ack, sorry, that's Vickie 3 wearing Vickie 2's clothes. Off to find the thread for you. Marque

'Yes' and 'yes almost always'. Some things like straps and so on, it doesn't do too well. Normal clothes work just fine. :] Fish

I can sort of make things fit using the tailor, and those files.. the only thing is they only look good from the from., look round the back and her legs protrude and the worst thing is her tops are all floating away from her bust... i have no clue how to fix this, and i have tried! LOL heres an example... this happens on most things :( any help would be great... -=SimderZ=-

Tailor works just fine with V3. Tailor does have a problem with any CR2 saved from Poser 5. I do not know if CodeTwister is aware of the problem or not. I load the CR2 into Poser 4 and save it before I use Tailor.

I'm pretty sure DAZ/Codetwister is aware of the situation with P5, but I wouldn't bet on anything happening. First of all, there's the DAZ/CL tension. Second, the workaround described above is also known. Third, I seem to recall word in the forum being that Codetwister wasn't planning an update because he thought dynamic clothing (or dyn cloth based solutions) would render the Tailor obsolete...which may be true in the long run, but probably not for a while.
