I wonder how mush they are gonna sting us for this... Maybe the ProPack should come later when they fix the bugs in P5

Dave, There are users who have been asking, yelping, begging for the plug-ins. Many artists use a variety of tools... especially if they are doing professional work or have contracts which must be delivered in a certain format. No matter what CL does, there will be folks who aren't satisfied, but they are trying to get this stuff out to us. The patching and updating of Poser 5 will be a continuous affair. I'm glad that it is stable enough now for them to pick up several of the loose ends. Carolly

Of course it is. I'll bet CL will be more than happy for you to pay for your order in advance, too. Of course it is. I'll bet CL will be more than happy for you to pay for your order in advance, too. Of course it is. I'll bet CL will be more than happy for you to pay for your order in advance, too.

Wouldn't it be nice if they also put the new library structure in the actual propack? Dreamin', I know.

"Reiss Studio, home of BodyStudio, the Maya Poser plug-in. Now on Macintosh too!" What you are saying with this is that the Mac OSX plugins will allow Poser users to import directly into Maya? Carolly

Yes! It works just like the Lightwave/Cinema 4D plugins, with a few notable exeptions. --- OSX native Built with new poser carbon libraries, you can host your poser files in maya without using classic mode. --- Much Improved texture support Virtually all Poser 4 texture parameters are supported. Even transparencies are set up automatically, and Transparency Min/Max/Expo is translated into native Maya shaders. --- Much imporved geometry support We treat geometries that don't import like bugs. Even with 3rd party meshes. As a result this plugin is the stablest importer of Poser data into 3rd party programs to date. --- additional features like automatic reload from inside Maya, and more... like with the other plugins, you set up your scene in Poser, and then import the poser scene for playback in Maya. It also works with the latest version. Maya 4.5. I'll post the full press release on monday cheers! -Josh -- Reiss Studio, home of BodyStudio, the Maya Poser plug-in.
