How do you resave as a smart prop? i saw this question in another post,can anyone answer or point to a tutorial,thanx

Parent the prop first, then save in the prop file of your choice. The window will ask if you want to save as a smart prop. Tashar 59

One important thing that isn't clear from the manual: After hitting the '+' sign, be sure that you do NOT go through the "select subset" action. When you do that, you will NOT get the box that asks you whether to save as a smart prop. This means, in effect, that a smart prop must be exactly one object, not a combination of objects.

I have bought some props that consists of 2 props, both of them conform to the character, in 2 different places (1 prop for each hand). How did they do this ?
