It IS possible to export meshs! Just found this out on the KTP Bryce Forum: http://www.halcyon.com/alrives/brycetips/messageboards/ Exerpt from Waldos post: "Well, I tried it, and it works for single meshes, and for a GROUP OF MESHES such as a model! At least, I could get stuff out of Bryce as a Wavefront OBJ file... try it yourself, here's how: 1) Import the model. 2) Select it and hit the E next to it for object properties. 3) Press CTRL+D which brings up an export dialog. Select the file type you wish to export as, and then export it! Worked for me for two files, then I tried to export as a .3ds file and Bryce crashed. This was with Bryce4 for the PC, I'm sure it works for at least the MAC version" Try it,it works wonders :]

Yeah, I've exported several files from Bryce to use in Vue 3. When ever I try to export in 3ds though, Bryce crashes. So, yes it's possible, but 3ds files crash all the time from my experiences. Huh, and I thought it was just my computer that had problems with 3ds.

Well, you can always export as OBJ, then convert it to 3DS in a 3D conversion program. Melanie

:-) Ya, exporting is sorta broke in Bryce4, but not too useful...
