I have been looking and looking for the area to adjust how much memory Poser uses and I cant seem to find it!! I Looked in general preferences but there is only a couple of things there. Can anyone help?

You'll need to actually adjust it in your Windows settings (unless you're on a Mac, then I have no clue how to help you). Depending on your OS, you'll probably want to increase the amount of virtual memory in use. Poser 5, at least, tends to take all the memory it can get when rendering, so be sure you shut down all extra programs running in the background.
