Hi ya'll, its me the newbie again. Okay I have been trying to render a scene for almost 2 hours now and no matter what I do to the lights, camera, figure view or anything it keeps stopping just at her chin. and the rest looks like a big smear at the top!!! I have checked and rechecked my memory, shut down and reopened Poser,as well as restarted my PC and nothing.. I have rendered quite a few sample figures before with no problem.. HELP!!! I dont know what is going on.. Thanks Annette

Did you render to a new window? And possibly scroll in that window while it was rendering? It's the only time I've seen that "smear" you describe. But when I saw it, the render continued and it ended up ok. Doesn't sound like it's the case here :o( Can you possibly get a screen shot of it so we all know what we're talking about? :o) btw, sorry but I forgot... are you using P4 or P5?

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA
Using Poser since 2002. Currently at Version 11.1 - Win 10.

Hi Anette, tell us something your hardware: - CPU - RAM - ... - which Servicepack? Think you got problems in Poser 5. Goto Render -> Render Options and check your settings! The slow one: FireFly Renderer Production faster but with less quality: Poser 4 Renderer Draft Perhaps it helps Have a nice day Daniel + Matthias

Also if its P4 try rendering at a smaller scale . Say your at 2000 x 2000 try 1500 or 1000 ....

Ok I am using Poser 4 Pro Pack and I did render to a new window, I have an Intel celeron processor 800mhz 512mb RAM I am running Windows ME See I dont think it has to do with that though because I have rendered before, quite a few other figures, I had no problems at all. I noticed that those figures were rendered using the basic default light and camera. So maybe it is the type of or number of lights I used? Also, it seems to render from the feet up to where it stops pretty quick, then it just stops and freezes. I will go play around some more and try to get a screen shot. Oh also, I tried even rendering just a close up of the head and it still stops in the same exact spot. Thanks a bunch!!

If you delete the geometry rsr of the necklace, you should be able to use it without any further problems.
