I'd like to make one of these characters. Has anybody done one, or what is the best program or ad-on pack to make one?

Have Communion's and tomiya's. Both nice, but Communion's yoroi (armor) is very well done. You also want to check out kodesign's Nipponto Pak 1 (in Marketplace) - very well done (and authentic) samurai sword.
