Thanks Traveler, Well it's been a while in the makong but it looks like it's finally here. First off I want to thank Jack ,Ed and all the other administrators for listening to all of us and providing a forum in which to operate the Challenges. Also I want to thank the Artist and members for getting behind me on this project. Some of you may have read the earlier threads descibing a rough outline of how to make it work without complicating it too much.well, after some discussion with Jack and Ed,we will be adding some singup forms to fill out to become an active challenge participant ,this way people who dont want to be involved ,won't be bothered with declining Challenges. until this is put into effect, we will be starting of in an informal way here in this forum. This should be fun! not a competition so much ,but a way to challenge others and be challenged as well,You may very well create Art that you wouldnt otherwise even try or think of and learn new techniques and tricks along the way. we will be getting a Gallery for presenting, the Artwork as well. This forum will be mainly for discussion, learning and exchanging challenged and Ideas. This Idea is not my own by any strethch of the imagination, It's done in other areas of the net,and "WE" hope to make this one of the best on the net. Notice I said "WE" THIS IS NOT "MY" FORUM, THIS IS "OUR" FORUM! It's late here on the East coast USA So I' will be posting some guidlines tomorrowin another thread.remember these are ony suggestions, and I will be counting on You all to help with ideas to make it run smoother or offer any other suggestions. This is my first moderator position so bear with me please. I just want to say I'm really excited about this, And I'm gratefull to be a part of such a Great community. Thanks again Family Hawkfyr

....strap match? Scarab....<- I would accept if I knew what the #$%@ you were talking about....

Traveler posted Sun, 30 April 2000 at 4:28 PM

A strap match is where two wrasselers tie this long strap on one of their hands, so they are tied togther and then wrassle it out.

bonestructure posted Sun, 30 April 2000 at 4:43 PM

Somehow I read it wrong, I thought you were getting into a teddy match with strap ons. Shows where my mind is.

This sounds very interesting, but I'm still abit in the dark here. Hawk...can you give a little more info about exactly what we're talking about..? I'm assuming this will be personal challenges to others in the clash? Can I challenge geep to post a photo of himself? foxhollow

Hawkfyr posted Mon, 01 May 2000 at 6:21 PM

I spose you could Fox, Just set the theme and also set up some specifications for geep to follow. the Challenges are for all types of Art .it's not only for 3d applications, See the above threads to get a better Idea of how were approaching this ,we are just getting started and are anticipating some forms to fill out to better organize the challenges, Start a triangle, by challenging geep if he want's to participate, then Geep willchalleng another artist and that artist will challenge you. ..so there all going on at the same time, this is to keep a flow of images coming in. Traveller and GeorgeD have each also posted forum wide challenges that everybody does. this is gunna be fun. Welcome Fox. Lets get it going everybody. Spread the word. Hawkfyr Hawkfyr
